Beer Crate Race (Kastenlauf)

A German tradition: Walk a distance while finishing a crate of beer.

How to play

  1. 1Teams of 2.
  2. 2Each team carries a full crate of beer (20 or 24 bottles).
  3. 3Map out a route (e.g., 5-10km) to a finish line.
  4. 4Goal: Cross the finish line with the crate EMPTY.
  5. 5Running is allowed, but drinking while running is hard.
  6. 6First team to arrive with an empty crate wins.
