Trivia Bet legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Trivia Bet uses for guest play, optional accounts, and private online rooms.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Who controls your data
Orrito is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to orrito.com@gmail.com.
Play without an account
An account is optional. Local and Solo play can store the following data on your device:
- your chosen display name;
- scores, progression, achievements, and unlocks;
- private-room reconnect information;
- opaque safety identifiers and blocked-player preferences.
This device data is not sent to an Orrito account unless you sign in and use a cloud feature. You can remove it by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Optional account data
If you create an account, Google Firebase Authentication processes your email address, password credential, display name, verification status, and account identifier. Orrito does not receive or store your raw password.
A verified account may store:
- your display name and game progression;
- online-room and round counters;
- unlock and achievement data;
- an opaque safety key and blocked opaque safety keys.
This information is used to provide sign-in, account recovery, optional cloud progression, export, and account-deletion features.
Private online rooms
Private online play uses a room service hosted with Cloudflare. The service processes a room code, room settings, temporary player identifiers, display names, game commands, questions, answers, bets, scores, and preset reactions. Free-text chat is not intended to be available in the initial Play Store release.
Room information is used only to operate and secure the private session. A room has a maximum lifetime of two hours by default. Expired room state is removed from the active room service.
Data we do not request
The initial standalone release does not request your contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, photos, payment details, or advertising identifier. It does not contain advertising or in-app purchases. Raw trivia answers are not added to your persistent account profile or product analytics.
Service providers and international processing
Trivia Bet relies on Google Firebase for authentication and account data, and Cloudflare for private-room networking. These providers may process technical data in countries outside your own under their contractual safeguards. Orrito does not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
- Device data remains until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
- Account profile and safety data remain until the account is deleted.
- Private-room state has a maximum lifetime of two hours by default.
- Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain security, or meet a legal obligation.
You can download a JSON copy of your account data or permanently delete your account from the Profile screen. You can also follow the web deletion instructions.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal data. Contact Orrito to exercise a right. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children and age suitability
Trivia Bet is not designed for children under 13. The game uses simulated betting with virtual points only; it does not allow real-money gambling. Users who are minors should use account and online features only with any permission required by local law.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
